BOBBY L CARMAN
2 8 1937-3 16 1993

Mr. Bobby L Carman of 1422 Chestnut, Forrest City, died today, March 16, 1993, at Baptist
Central Hospital in Memphis. He was 56. Mr. Carman was born Feb 8, 1937 in Wynne to J W
Carman Sr and Dimple Cargile Carman. He had lived in Forrest City for the past 28 years
where he was employed by Duff-Nordon—Yale Hoists. He was a member of the First United
Methodist Church where he served on the board and was a choir member. He was married to
the former Carolyn Ford in 1960. She survives him along with his mother, a son, Wen Carman
of Little Rock; two daughters, Jan Carman of Searcy and Donna Carman Roedel of Forrest
City; two brothers, James Wendell Carman of Little Rock and Jerry Carman of North Little
Rock; and four nephews and one niece. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 18 at 2
pm at First United Methodist Church with the Rev Glen Pettus officiating. Stevens Funeral
Home will be in charge of Arrangements. Memorials may be made to the First United
Methodist Church of the Forrest City Public Library.
