VADA L CULLUM
(age 59 d.Feb. 25, 1993)

Mrs. Vada L Cullum of Wichita Falls TX, formerly of Forrest City, died Thursday, Feb 25,
1993 at her home. She was 59. Mrs Cullum was born in Gotobo OK. She was a retired licensed
vocational nurse and a member of Westside Baptist Church. She had served alongside her
husband who pastored a number of Arkansas and Texas churches, including First Baptist
Church of Forrest City. She leaves her husband, the Rev Alfred R Cullum of the home; two
sons, Tim Cullum of Marion and Reid Cullum of Memphis; two daughters, Cynthia C London of
North Little Rock and Opal Marie Rountree of Forrest City; a brother, Thomas Franklin
Harris of Wilburn GA; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb
27 at 10 am at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev James Scarbrough officiating, assisted
by Mrs Cullum’s husband and son. A second memorial service will be held Monday, March 1 at
2 pm at Calvary Baptist Church of North Little Rock with Rev Marvin Reynolds officiating,
assisted again by the deceased’s husband and son. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery
in Little Rock under the direction of Owens-Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls, TX. In
lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Wichita Falls Hospice or the Cancer Fund of
America in care of Westside Baptist Church.
