ARTHUR KELLOUGH DAVIS
10 25 1908-5 9 1993

Mr Arthur Kellough Davis of Forrest City died Sunday, May 9, 1993 at the Baptist East
Hospital in Memphis. He was 84. Mr. Davis was born Oct 25, 1908 in the Newcastle
Community, the son of Marsh Davis and Ada Nichols Davis. He lived in St Francis County
most of his life where he was a farmer and a Baptist. He leaves his wife, Lessie Eva
Holland Davis; three sons, Jerry Davis, Jackie Davis and Jimmy Davis, all of Forrest City;
two stepsons, Leon Lanster of Austin, TX and Ralph Laster of Forrest City; two brothers,
Gilbert Davis and Cleveland Davis, both of Forrest City; and 10 grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11 at 10 am at Stevens
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev J.D. Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Park
Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
