S.B. DEATON
8 6 1901-2 25 1993

Mr. S.B. Deaton of West Helena died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1993, at Baptist Central Hospital
in Memphis. He was 91. He was born Aug. 6, 1901 in Tuckerman and was a retired maintenance
supervisor for Bobby Brooks. Mr. Deaton was a member of the Springdale Road Church of
Christ for past 58 years. Survivors include two daughters, Myrtle Marie Blair of Helena
and Mary Helen Burke of Marianna; three sons, Roy Deaton, Joe Deaton and Mack Deaton, all
of West Helena; and 27 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Funeral services were
held Saturday Feb. 27 at 2 pm at the Springdale Road Church of Christ with Mike Sinapiades
officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park under the direction of Edwards Funeral
Home of West Helena.
