JOHN ALEXANDER DIFFEY
10 18 1917-4 16 1993

Mr John Alexander Diffey of Forrest City died Friday, April 16, 1993 at his home. He was
75. Mr Diffey was born Oct 18, 1917 in Cotton Plant, the son of John A Diffey Sr and
Margaret Caster Diffey. A graduate of the University of Arkansas Law School. Mr Diffey had
lived in Forrest City for the past 46 years. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a
retired real estate and insurance agent and a member of the Graham Memorial Presbyterian
Church. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Bronze Star recipient. He
leaves his wife, Joella Berry Diffey of the home; three daughters, Susan N. Marlowe of
Little Rock, Jo Alexander of Ft Thomas, KY and Laura D Mazzanti of Forrest City; and eight
grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17
at 11 am at Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev Ron Stone officiating. Burial
will be in Cotton Plant under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
