HOPE HUSKEY FRENCH
1 28 1917-3 7 1993

Mrs. Hope Huskey French of Forrest City, died Sunday, March 7, 1993 at Baptist Memorial
Hospital-Forrest City. She was 76. She was born Jan 28, 1917 in Saffel Ark, to James
Huskey and Martha Clark Huskey. She was a retired sales clerk from Ferguson’s Drug Store
and attended Bethel Baptist Church. She leaves her husband, Carter French Smith of West
Memphis; six sisters, Emma Kirk of West Monroe LA, Inez Neel of Cleveland Miss, Mae Gray
of Morrisville NC, Stella Vogt of Winter Haven Fla, Opal Walls of McCrory and Minnie
McDoniel of Seminole Okla; and six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral
services will be held Tuesday, March 9 at 2 pm at Salem Methodist Church near Moro with
the Rev Lash Frey officiating Burial will be in Salem Methodist Cemetery under the
direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
