JOHN LEE GANNAWAY.
9 17 1941-12 21 1992

Mr. John Lee Gannaway, aged 52, of Warren, formerly of Forrest City, died Monday, Dec. 21,
1992, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Gannaway was born Sept. 17, 1941, At Pine
Bluff, to John Gannaway Sr. and Fay Temple Gannaway.  He was a retired reporter for the
Pine Bluff Commercial and Forrest City Times- Herald, having retired in 1973 after
suffering injuries in an auto accident.  He was a member of the First United Methodist
Church.  He is survived by three cousins, Billy Charles Temple of Memphis, Jim Temple of
Dallas, Texas, and Betty Matthews of Shreveport, La.  Graveside services were held Dec.
23, at Oakland Cemetery in Warren by Rev. David Steele.  Arrangements were by Frazer's
Funeral Home.
