EDDIE C GREEN

Mr Eddie C Green of Forrest City died Monday, Dec. 28, 1992, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-
Forrest City. He was 87. Mr. Green was born Feb. 16, 1905, in Bland, Ark, to J H Greene
and Minnie Chastain Greene. A retail merchant, he lived 36 years in Texarkana before
moving to Forrest City. He was a member of First Baptist Church, the Kiwanis Club and the
KClub. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louis Sams Greene in 1991; by a son, Dr. E
Leon Greene in 1975; and by a grand-daughter, Louis Nimocks Beeson in 1991. Survivors
include a daughter, Joyce G Nimocks of Forrest City, six grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 10 am at Mt. Vernon
Cemetery with the Rev. Don Mathews officiating. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements. Memorials may be made to Mt Vernon Cemetery Association, P O Box 708,
Forrest City, Ark 72335.
