He was 87. Mr Hall, the father of Kersh E Hall Jr of Forrest , died Wednesday, April 21, 1993, following a lengthy illness. A retired bulk oil distributor and businessman, Mr. Hall was born February 20, 1906 in Coleman (Drew County), Ar. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army, a member of the American Legion and a member of the First Baptist Church of Dumas. Married to the former Maudie Ella Poole in 1928, he was the son of the late E.B. Hall and the late Minnie Zoe Kersh Hall. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kersh Jr of Forrest City and John Charles Hall of Dumas; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Willie) VanWinkle of Little Rock and Mrs. Grant (Mary) Cox of Dumas; a sister, Mrs. Dixie Taylor of Dumas; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Burial was at the family plot in Pleasant Springs Cemetery in Drew County by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas with Rev Neil Bennett officiating.
