All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** ALFORD LOGAN SR 3 20 1921-4 11 1993 Mr. Alford Logan Sr, formerly of Forrest City, died Sunday, April 11, 1993 at York Hospital in York, PA. He was 72. He was born March 20, 1921 to Scott Logan and Artie Logan. He worked with the Forrest City Water Company for over 25 years before retiring in 1967. After retiring he moved to York where he worked with Ecco Tools for five years. Mr. Logan was a member of the Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in York, where he served on the usher board. He was also a member of the Princess Street Senior Citizens in York. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Catherine Jordan Logan. Survivors include three sons, Robert C Hollis of Dover, PA, and Charles Logan and Mervin Logan of York; two daughters, Bernice Edmonds and Eunice Hall of York; two brothers, Perry Logan and Arizona Logan of Forrest City; one sister, Fannie Mae Hampton of Forrest City; and 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Emmanuel Church of God in Christ Tuesday, April 13 at 11 am and at the Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel in Forrest City Thursday, April 14 at 1 pm. Burial will be at Casteel Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled in York by Robert F Koller Funeral Home, Inc. Local arrangements are with Kennedy Funeral Home of Forrest City.
