She was 65. Mrs. Parish was born March 24, 1927 in Moro to Jeff May and Abbie Jones May. She was a housewife and a member of the Haynes Baptist Church. She leaves her husband, R.L. Parrish of the home; three sons, James Reece Parrish of Quinlan TX, Glen Dale Parrish of Arab AL, and Troy Lee Parrish of Haynes; two daughters, Joy Faye Nix of Haynes and Ophia Lee Brady of Maybank TX; four brothers, William May and Spencer May, both of Brickeys, Robert May of Hughes and Wayne May of West Helena; three sisters, Juanita Sanders and Doris Ans of Michigan; and 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held today, March 8 at Morgan Chapel with the Rev John Walls officiating, assisted by the Rev Bud Davis. Burial was in Hughes Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral home.
