DONALD GAITHER POINDEXTER
2 6 1922-2 13 1993

Mr. Donald Gaither Poindexter died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1993, at Baptist Hospital in
Memphis. He was 71. Mr. Poindexter was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Monett, Ark. To Claud
Poindexter and Lula Rose Poindexter. He was a retired mechanic and also enjo0yed wood
working. He leaves a son, Russell V of Manvel TX; three daughters, Nellie Ashburn of
Forrest City, Linda Wilson of Ward, Ark. And Jeanette Ellington of Memphis; two sisters,
Jane Cooper of Lafayette LA and Opal Walker of South Carolina; and 10 grand children and
three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday Feb. 15 at Good Hope Baptist
Church with the Rev. J.W. Webb officiating. Burial was in Hughes Cemetery under the
direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
