VIVIAN SHANKLE
7 24 1907-5 9 1993

Mrs. Vivian Shankle of Forrest City, died Sunday, May 9, 1993 at her home. She was 85.
Mrs. Shankle was born July 24, 1907 in Tupelo, Miss, the daughter of Will and Alice Stepp.
She was a retired seamstress and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband and a
daughter. She leaves two sons, Arthur Shankle of Illinois and Billy Shankle of Madison;
three daughters, Elizabeth Wallace of California, Doris Wagenkenecht of Florida and Polly
Acree of California; a sister, Christine Howard of Las Vegas; and 19 grandchildren, 28
great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held
Wednesday, may 12 at 2 pm at Morgan chapel with the Rev J.D. Webb officiating. Burial will
be in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
