Mrs. Fay Holman Simmons of Byhalia, Miss, died Friday, April 9, 1993, at the Baptist
DeSoto Hospital in Southaven, Miss. She was 65. She was born Oct 20, 1927 in Gordo, Ala,
the daughter of Edward Dittaugh and Mazie Holman Dittaugh. She moved to Byhalia from
Alabama six years ago. She was a customer service clerk for the Dodge Store and a member
of the Church of God. She is survived by one daughter, Janet Carol Ingram of Southaven;
her parents, Mr and Mrs. Edward Dittaugh of Fisk, MO; a brother, Edward Junior Dittaugh of
Byhalia; a sister, Zula Holloway of Fisk; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were
held today, April 12 at 11 am at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Barnishaw
Cemetery in Pine Tree.
