LINDA MCKEE SLAUGHTER
1 21 1949-4 25 1993

Mrs. Linda McKee Slaughter of Fort Lewis, Wash and Fayetteville, Ark died Sunday, April
25, 1993 in a Fort Lewis hospital. She was 44. Mrs Slaughter was born Jan 21, 1949 in
Wynne. She was a homemaker, vocalist and student. She was a graduate of Forrest City High
School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and Der Singkreis and was a
member of the Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons). She leaves her husband, John
Slaughter of Fort Lewis; two sons, Wayne and Sean Slaughter; her father, Cecil A McKee of
Forrest City; seven sisters, Frances Jenkins of Oregon, Shirley Drouin of California,
Laverne Lucas, Wanda McKee and Needie McKee, all of Forest City, Carol Wilkins of Houston
and Becky Oakes of Hardy; and three brothers, Larry McKee of Munford, Cleo McKee of Colt
and Steve McKee of Wynne. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 1 at 1 pm at Carter
Funeral Home in Thayer, MO. The family requests that any memorials be made to a church
music department.
