Retha Mae Dangeau Bounds, age 80, of Forrest City, died Monday, October 25,
1999. She was born March 26, 1919, in Pine Tree and was the daughter of Clarence
Stayton Dangeau and Sessie Mae Ellis Dangeau. She lived in the Forrest City area
all of her life where she was retired from the Reltoc Manufacturing Company. She
was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Happy Days Club. She married
Guy Bounds in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1970. She is survived by two
daughters, Gylinda Ryan of San Antonio, Texas and Judy Murray of Forrest City;
one sister, Marie Dunavion of Tuckerman; two brothers, Orvind Dangeau of Eureka
Springs and LeRoy Dangeau of Wynne; five grandchildren and four great
grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at 11 a.
m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Barnishaw Cemetery in
Pine Tree. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, from 6 p. m. until
8 p. m. at Stevens Funeral Home.
