George Jackson Conwell. age 52, of St. Louis, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 23,
1999, at Crestpark Skilled Nursing Home. He was formerly of Forrest City, and
was retired from General Motors Company after 25 years. He is survived by his
mother, Myrtle Conwell of Haynes; a daughter, Twyla Conwell of St. Louis, Mo.;
two brothers, Hyton Conwell Jr. of Haynes and Roy Conwell of Forrest City; and
four sisters, Mimmie Conwell of St. Louis, Mo., Aretha Blanchnett of Haynes, Eva
Mason and Geoiga Tyus, both of Forrest City. Visitation will be from 2 p. m. to
5 p. m. on Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at Kennedy Funeral Home. Services will be
held at 1 p. m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Eddie Mosby officiating. With burial to follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with
Kennedy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
