Mildred Alleene Cox, age 72, of Forrest City, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at
Crestpark Nursing Home in Forrest City. She was born June 5, 1927, in Colt and
was the daughter of Claude Dill and Hattie Matlock. She lived in Forrest City
all of her life and was a housewife. She was a member of the Beck Spur Baptist
Church. She married Chloral C. Cox on 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1989.
She is survived by one daugther, Judy Nelson of Forrest City; two sisters,
Lavonne Adkisson of Wynne and Mary Burnett of Forrest City; two grandchildren
and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home
Chapel on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at 10 a. m. with Rev. Bill Thomason
officiating. Burial will follow in Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation
will be held Monday, Sept. 13, 1999, from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Stevens
Funeral Home.
