Jeremy Craig Evans, 22, died Friday, February 26. He was a resident of Lee
County and a correctional officer at East Arkansas Correctional Institution in
Brickeys. He is survived by a son, J. T. Evans of Moro; his mother, Connie
Collier of Paducah, KY; his father, Tony Evans of Texas; a brother, Kerry (Pee-
Wee) Crump of Moro; a sister, Krissy Anderson of West Helena; maternal
grandmother, Dee Cook of Moro; a step-brother, Gene Collier, a step-sister,
Emily Collier and a step-father, Ronnie Collier, all of Paducah; special aunt
and uncle, Kim and Rusty Crump of Moro; and three cousins, John Crump, Michael
Crump and Adam Crump, all of Moro. He was preceded in death by his step-father,
Kim Anderson. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 3, at 3 p. m. at Moro
Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Elliot officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove
Cemetery in Moro. Pallbearers were Honor Guards at the Brickeys prison.
Arrangements were handled by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
