William Druce Henry, Sr., 76, died Saturday, January 16, in his home. He was a
resident of Lee County and a retired farmer. He also was a member of the First
Christian Church in Marianna and a veteran of the Navy. He is survived by his
wife, Jane Carter Henry of Marianna; a son, William D. Henry, Jr. of Marianna;
two daughters, Diann Keown of Marianna and Beverly Brackin of Searcy; one
brother, Warren Henry of Memphis; six grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren. Visitation was Sunday, January 17, from 5 to 8 p. m. Funeral
services were held Monday, January 18, at 2 p. m. at Roller-Citizens Chapel in
Marianna with Rev. Rick Needham officiating. Burial followed at Marianna
Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Bryan Henry, Andy Keown, Matt Keown, Clay
Henderson, Bart Carter and Patrick Carter. Arrangements were handled by Roller-
Citizens Funeral Home.
