GILL

Floyd Hill, 70, died Thursday, April 15, at UAMS in Little Rock. He was a
resident of Palestine and retired from D&L. He also was a member of Mt. Gillion
Church where he served as an usher. He is survived by his wife, Wilhelmina Hill;
three daughters, Flordia Mae Hardimon of Forrest City, Mae Frances Weaver of
Fort Worth and Kathy Pattor of Memphis; six sons, F. Z. Hill and Frank E. Hill,
both of Little Rock; Larry D. Hill and David L. Hill, both of Dallas, LaDell
Hill of Garland and Clinton C. Hill of Fort Worth; one sister, Laura Lee Tinzie
of Palestine; three brothers, Ira Hill and James W. Hill, both of Chicago, and
David Hill of Palestine; 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral
services were held Saturday, April 24, at 2: 30 p. m. at Mt. Gillon M. B. Church
in Holub Crossing. Burial followed at Gill Cemetery. Arrangements were handled
by Marianna Funeral Home.
