Josephine D. Holland, 80, of Aubrey, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at St.
Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. Mrs. Holland was born April 24, 1919, in
Osburn, Missouri to John Clay Ditmars and Lula Milligan Ditmars. She was a
retired OEO Supervisor for Lee County, a housewife and a member of First
Christian Church in Marianna. She was preceded in death by two brothers,
Clarence Ditmars and Robert Clay Ditmars as well as her parents. She is survived
by her husband, Dan Holland of Aubrey; a son, John D. Holland of Little Rock; a
daughter, Nila Ray of Little Rock; a sister, Shirley Pickett of Russellville; a
brother, Melvin Ditmars of Sheldon and six grandchildren. Funeral services will
be held Monday, Nov. 29, at 2 p. m. at the First Christian Church in Marianna
with burial to follow at Lagrange Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral
Home.
