Charlie Lee Jackson Sr., 81, died Friday, January 8, at Crestpark Skilled
Nursing Home in Forrest City. He was a resident of St. Francis County and a
member of Oak Hill Church of God. He also was a retired equipment operator for
St. Francis County. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Hamby Jackson of Forrest
City; six sons, Wayne Jackson, Billy Jackson, Charlie Jackson, Ray Jackson and
Ricky Jackson, all of Forrest City and Jerry Jackson of Florida; five daughters,
Jackie Barnes, Linda Weddington and Joyce Moody, all of Forrest City, Martha
Atkins of Marion and Glenda Zambroni of Memphis; one sister, Louise Sills of
Spokane, Washington; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Jackson and John M. Jackson and one
daughter, Dianne Jackson. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 12, at
Stevens Funeral Home in Forrest City at 2 p. m. Burial followed at Spring Creek
Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Stevens Funeral Home.
