Fred Dan Jones, 55, of St. Francis County, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, in
Little Rock. He was born in Madison Dec. 2, 1943, to Chiney Jones and Emmie
Vales Jones. Mr. Jones was a general maintenance worker. He is survived by his
daughter, Elizabeth Nations of Penn.; two brothers, Artie Williams and James
Jones, both of Widener; three sisters, Bobbie Bowen of Widener, Edna Lane of
Forrest City and Verna Louise Oxford of North Little Rock and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 4, at Bell Cemetery in Palestine, with
Brother J. E. Hughes officiating. Services were under the direction of Morgan
Funeral Home.
