MARY ANNE BROOKS 12 17 1945-2 7 1999 BROWN'S CHURCH Mary Anne Key, 53, died Sunday, February 7, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was a 28 year resident of Jackson, TN. She was born in Marianna. She attended T. A. Futrall High School, where she was a cheerleader. She was a partner in Key Fire Protection, Inc., the owner of Mary Anne's Doll Boutique, an artist, an avid antique collector, a member of Dollectable Doll Club, and enjoyed outdoor activities including boating. A member of Brown's United Methodist Church, she was very active in Prayer Groups and the Ladies Groups. Her other civic activities include past President of the West Memphis Jaycettes, past officer in the North Side Quarterback Club, Cub Scout Den Mother, Boy Scouts, PTA, Room Mother, and the Adopt a Child Program with the mall. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Key; three sons, Jerry Key, Jr., Jimmy Key and Jonathan, all of Jackson, TN; her father, Taylor Jackson Brooks of Byhalia, MS; her grandmother, Mary Hunt Webb of Jackson; five grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Brooks Watkins of Drandon, MS and Janice Brooks Palmer of Marianna; a brother, Cody Brooks of Jackson and an aunt; Margaret Jackson of Jackson. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 10, at 11 a. m. at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel in Jackson with Rev. Judy Clark officiating. Burial followed at Brown's Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Russ Ellis, Cory Hill, Clint Ellis, Scott Casey, Gerald Reed, Pierce Barnett, Jack Hardin and Bill McMillen Honorary pallbearers were Quinnie Harris, Bobby Weaver, Van Veatch, Max Herron and Tom Hillsman. Arrangements were handled by George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home.
