CREMATION

Flora Neel, age 94, of Edgewater, Fla., formerly of Forrest City, died Friday,
Oct. 1, 1999 at her home. She graduated from the former Arkansas State Teachers
College and received her master's degree from Trinity University in San Antonio.
She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, San Antonio and Volnsia Educators
Association and was a member of the Texas and National Education Associations
and represented San Antonio at annual NEA meetings. She taught in Arkansas,
Texas and Florida. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Faith Gilliam of Oak
Hill; two step daughters, Wylodine Lutz and Martha Cook, both of San Antonio; a
sister, Virginia Sparks of Memphis; three grandchildren and five step-
grandchildren. Volushia County Cremation of Daytona Beach, Fla. is in charge of
arrangements.
