Orrell, 75, of Casey, Ill., died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind. Mr. Orrell was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Greenup, Ill., to Harley Samuel Orrell and Nora Gross Orrell. He was a retired boiler operator from Arkansas Power and Light, a member of Casey White Oak Church of God, served in the Navy during World War II and a member of Casey VFW Post #5762. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one grandson. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Orrell of Casey, Ill.; two sons, Bill Orrell of Casey, Ill., and Andy Orrell of El Campo, Texas; two daughters, Pat Hudgens of Enville, Tenn., and Jean Graves of Forrest City; two sisters, Vera Pogue of Casey, Ill., Betty Hutchings of Neenah, Wis.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were held Friday, Dec. 10, at Markwell and Son Funeral Home in Casey, Ill. Burial followed at Casey Cumberland Cemetery.
