MARIANNA MEMORIAL

Mauline Russell Palmer, 86, died Monday, April 26, in her home. She was a
resident of Lee County and taught at T. A. Futrall High School for 22 years. She
was a member of the Presbyterian Church, an avid bridge player, gardener and
golfer. Her zest for life was evident in every activity in which she
participated. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Alex Palmer of Marianna; two daughters, Patricia
Palmer of Little Rock and Diane Hilburn of North Little Rock; nine grandchildren
and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tapp
Palmer. Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 28, at 10: 30 a.m. at
Marianna Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Ford officiating.
