MEMORIAL

Rev. Harold Rice, age 78, of Wrightsville, Ga., died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at
his home. He was a native of Greenup Co., Kentucky, and was the son of the late
John and Willia Heaberlin Rice. He was a minister at First Christian Church in
Wrightsville for over 25 years and was an accomplished musician of many
instruments. He is survived by his wife, Majel Rice of Wrightsville, Ga.; two
sons, Gary Rice of Lake Well, Fla. and Mitch Rice of Dundee, Fla.; two brothers,
John Rice of Dallas, Texas and Paul Rice of Cincinnati, Ohio; six sisters, Verna
Melvin of Wortkind, Ken., Ann Ingram of Greenville, Tenn., Ester Ferguson and
Dottie Duncan, both of Ashland, Ken., Gwen Clark of Miamiburg, Ohio and Brit
Bridges of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Memorial services were held
Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1999, at First Christian Church with Rev. James Hutto
officiating with Richard & Joyce Stanley Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of
arrangements.
