HARRIS CHAPEL

William E. "Bill" Roberts, age 50, of Wynne, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at his
home. He was born Jan. 29, 1949, in Cross County to Joe Roberts Sr. and Willie
Mae Cannady Roberts. He was an employee of the Forrest City Fire Department for
20 years, and retired with the rank of Captain. He was also with the St. Francis
County Sheriff's Department for 12 years, and was a Baptist. He is survived by
his wife, Mary; two sons, William E. "Bill Jr. " Roberts and Brian Roberts, both
of Wynne; two brothers, Joe A. Roberts Jr. of Tennessee and Robert G. "Bobby"
Roberts of Wynne; and a grandson. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on
Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, at Morgan Chapel. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999, at Morgan Chapel with Bro. Gary Chapman officiating.
Burial will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Morgan
Funeral Home.
