Nurlene Rogers, age 46, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1999, at Baptist
Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. She was born in Forrest City on July 8, 1953.
She is survived by her mother, Jane Ella Rogers of Forrest City; one son, Victor
Rogers of Forrest City; four brothers, Odis Rogers of Memphis, Nathan Rogers Jr.
and Gerry Rogers, both of Forrest City, and Derry Rogers of Bloomington, Ind.;
four sisters, Annette Mason, Pamela Rogers, Renota Rogers and Eunice Rogers, all
of Forrest City. She was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Rogers Sr.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at 1 p.m. at Taylor's
Chapel C. M. E. Church with Rev. Jesse Brown officiating. Burial will follow in
Casteel Cemetery with Clay Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation
will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, 1999, at Clay Funeral Home from 10: 30 a.m.
until 12 noon.
