MARIANNA MEMORIAL

Curtis Houston Rose, age 62, of Marianna, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at
Baptist Central Hospital in Memphis. He was born Oct. 30, 1936, in Lee County to
Jessie and Laura Ramsey Rose. He was a grain dryer and a member of the First
united Pentecostal Church in Marianna. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Rose
of Marianna; a son, Mark Rose of Kannapolis, NC; three daughters, Lisa Vowan of
Forrest City, Laura Jackson of Marianna, Jennifer Oldham of Rogers; a brother,
Johnny Rose of Newark; two sisters, Virginia Coates of Shawnee, Okla.; and 12
grandchildren. Services were held on Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, with burial in
Marianna Memorial Park. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
