He was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Widener and was a retired farmer. Mr. Ursery is survived by his wife, Juanita Ursery of Forrest City; his mother, Mattie Mae Ursery of St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Otis Ursery of South Bend, Ind., and Terry King of Milwaukee, Wis.; seven daughters, Jeanie Fluelen of South Bend, Ruby Jean Ursery of Forrest City, Earnestine McNeeley of Dallas, Texas, Earline Joshua of Hughes, and Floria Jean Curne, Doris Jean Ursery and Anita Ursery of Forrest City; 11 brothers, T. J. Ursery and James Ursery Jr. of Forrest City, Jimmie Lee Ursery of California, A. D. Ursery of Detroit, Mich., Theodis Ursery of St. Louis, Mo., J. C. Ursery of South Bend, Robert Ursery of St. Louis, Leon Ursery of Miami, Fla., Willie Ursery and Sylvester Ursery of St. Louis and Charman Ursery of California; two sisters, Margie Lee Love and Myrtle Ursery of St. Louis; 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Clay Funeral Home today (Friday, Nov. 12) from 3-5 p.m. Funeral services will be at Salem Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Marland Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery, under the direction of Clay Funeral Home.
