PARADISE GARDENS

Texanna Walker, age 89, of Detroit, Mich., formerly of Marianna, died Friday,
Oct. 15, 1999, at Harper Hospital in Detroit. She was a homemaker and a member
of the Walnut Grove M. B. Church. She is survived by one daughter, Gloria Forney
of Detroit; four sons, Harry Walker, Osborn Walker, Roosevelt Walker and John
Wesley Walker, all of Detroit; two sisters, Janie White and Lucille Rowland,
both of Marianna; 29 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and six great-great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Walker. A viewing
will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, from 10: 30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Walnut
Grove M. B. Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at 11
a.m. at Walnut Grove M. B. Church with Rev. Booker Thomas officiating with
burial following in PARADISE GARDENS in Edmondson with J. E. Kennedy Funeral
Home in charge of the arrangements.
