Vivian Juanita White, 62, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999, at her
home. She was born June 28, 1937, in Colt to Clark Jones Sr. and Ruby Paige
Jones. She retired from the Forrest City Police Department after twenty years of
service as a crossing guard. She is Survived by two daughters, Renita Cole of
Forrest City and Regenia Howard of Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Theartic Green of
Jonesboro, John White Jr. of Forrest City, and Danny White of San Antonio,
Texas; two sisters, Bernice Davis of Detroit, Mich., and Claudia Brinker of
Calumet, Ill.; four brothers, Clark Jones Sr. of Detroit Mich., Harold Jones of
Gary, Ind., Benjamin Jones of Michigan City, Ind., and Elmo Chism of Seattle,
Wash.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. Funeral services were
held today at 12 noon at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Cato Brooks officiating.
Burial followed at Clark Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
