She was born June 28, 1937, in Colt to Clark Jones Sr. and Ruby Paige Jones. She retired from the Forrest City Police Department after twenty years of service as a crossing guard. She is Survived by two daughters, Renita Cole of Forrest City and Regenia Howard of Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Theartic Green of Jonesboro, John White Jr. of Forrest City, and Danny White of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Bernice Davis of Detroit, Mich., and Claudia Brinker of Calumet, Ill.; four brothers, Clark Jones Sr. of Detroit Mich., Harold Jones of Gary, Ind., Benjamin Jones of Michigan City, Ind., and Elmo Chism of Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at 12 noon at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Cato Brooks officiating. Burial followed at Clark Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
