He was 101. Mr. Williams was born Oct. 2, 1893, in Linden, Tenn. He was the son of Tom Williams and Liddie Lineberry Williams. He was a retired farmer and a former resident of the Gibson Wells Community in Gibson County, Tenn., and was affiliated with the Methodist Church. He married Flossie Conder in 1920, who preceded him in death in 1991. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Sue Pittman of Gibsonton, Fla., and Evelyn Tyer of Forrest City; two granddaughters, Lynne Tyer Simmons of Houston and Sharon Perry of Forrest City, and a grandson, Samuel Tyer Simmons of Houston. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 1995, at Oak Grove Methodist Church in Gibson Wells Community. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home in Trenton, Tenn.
