Born at Onia, Arkansas December 5, 1903, she was a homemaker and a member of Fifty Six Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Jordan Jason; four sons, Noel Jason and George Jason both of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Johnie Jason and J.E. Jason both of Fifty Six, Arkansas; four daughters, Mrs. Pauline Brannon of Frankston, Texas; Mrs. Ilene McConnell of Fifty Six, Arkansas; Miss Bertie Jason of Mountain View, Arkansas; Mrs. Lorene Campbell of Marshall, Arkansas, four brothers, John Balentine of Jerseyville, Illinois; Eddie Balentine of Mountain Home, Arkansas; William Balentine and Jesse Balentine both of Fifty Six, Arkansas; four sisters, Mrs. Lillie Shipman and Mrs. Stella Zinn both of Fifty Six, Arkansas; Mrs. Claudia Gammill of Timbo, Arkansas; Mrs. Audie Branscum of Okemah, Oklahoma; one half sister, Mrs. Nellie Smith of Fifty Six, Arkansas; twenty two grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren. Funeral service was 2 P.M. Friday at Fifty Six Baptist Church with Rev. Thurman Gower and Rev. Ludene Hudspeth officiating. Burial was in Spoon Flat Cemetery by Crouch Funeral Home. Pallbearers were R.C. Alexander, Hubert Hampton, Ed Cartwright, Charles Lee Brown, Horace Hudspeth and Junior Lee Deatherage.
