J. Monroe Smith and Lady Return yesterday (fri) from a weeks visit to the 
lower part of the county.

Mrs. Smith the good mother of our Sheriff captured a big "chunk" of our 
gratitude this week by sending us a bottle of fine apple wine and cake to 
match. It is the first apple wine we have ever tasted, and we pronounce it 
superior to any other kind.
