She was also a member of the Eastern Star, a nurse's aide and cafeteria worker. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; five sisters; and one son, Dr. Willie Brown. COKE Maurine Lowery Coke, 82, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born Dec. 10, 1925, in El Dorado, to Richard Marion Lowery and Viola May Lowery. She was a homemaker, a former cook at South Arkansas Regional Health Center, and a long-time employee of the El Dorado Golf and Country Club. She was a member of West Side Baptist Church. Miller, 42, of El Dorado, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at Medical Center of South Arkansas. The son of Harry and Geraldine Williams Miller, he was born July 22, 1965, in El Dorado. He served his country for three years as a signalman in the United States Navy. For more than 30 years, he was an avid fan of Haynesville Golden Tornado football. Preceding him in death were his parents, two half-brothers, one half-sister, two sisters, and seven brothers.
