Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado. He was born June 7, l935, and was the son of Edward William Fillmore and Zelda Grace Spain Fillmore. Gene was a truck driver by trade and drove a truck his whole life. He last drove for Frank Thompson Trucking before retiring. He enjoyed the freedom of riding a motorcycle, and did so in his spare time. He loved his family who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Marion "Hop" Fillmore. Judy owned and operated a tomato farm in Bradley County, owned and operated a logging company, C&D Wood Inc., and managed a bait shop at Careyville Landing. She later managed the Felsenthal Campgrounds until she retired. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time with her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Rodney Lee Osborn; a sister- in-law, Lillie Rose Wells; her loving first husband, Clarence Woody Wood; and her second husband, Robert Dean Elkins. HOBBS Published: 05/07/2008 Hobbs The tender soul of Mildred Yvonne McAndrews Hobbs passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease. She was a resident of Timberlane Health and Rehab. Born in Marion, La., on Dec.19, 1928, she was the only child of Larry and Lillian Martin McAndrews. She graduated Salutatorian from Mangham High School in 1945. On June 20, 1947, she and Arbert M. (Chick) Hobbs of Okaloosa were married in West Monroe. Shortly after moving to El Dorado in 1959, the Hobbs were founding members of St. Paul Methodist Church. After a career in medical secretarial work, she retired in 1998. Through the years, she also worked countless band booster concession stands in El Dorado and Mountain Home. She is preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Hobbs and fiancée Jamie Hammond, of El Dorado; son, Alan Hobbs of High Point, N.C.; grandson, Brett Johnson, and wife Jacky; and great- grandson, Ian of El Dorado; great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Schmidt of Texarkana, Texas; and Benny and Joyce Post and their family of Smackover.
