Myrtis Delee Hicks
Myrtis Delee Hicks, 85, of Norphlet, AR went to be with the Lord Friday,
August 10, 2007
She was born February 17, 1922 in El Dorado to Charlie Pannell and Edna
Wallace Pannell.  Myrtis was an active member of Norphlet Baptist Church
and the Ruth Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie D. Pannell and Edna
Wallace Pannell; husband, W.H. Hicks, Jr.; brothers, Charlie Pannell,
Jr., Billy Pannell, Gene Pannell; granddaughter, Melanie Delee Mitchell.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Johnson and her husband Lou of
West Monroe, LA; Connie Sue Moore and her husband Ed of El Dorado, AR;
son, David Hicks of Norphllet, AR; brother, Jack Pannell and wife Lois of
Mira, LA; grandchildren, Michele Genusa, Erica Johnson, Marcie Roberts,
Wade Roberts; great-grandchildren, Haley Petroff, Hunter Allen, Kelcy
Roberts, Olivia Genusa, Shaina Genusa; step-grandchildren, Dacey Gay,
Kolby Gay, Matt Moore, Jake Moore; long time friend, Bevis Roberts;
numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, August 13, 2007 at First
Baptist Church of Norphlet with the Rev. Don Travis, Rev. Gerald Perry
and Rev. Dennis Turner officiating.  Burial will follow at Rest Haven
Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-6 pm, Sunday at Young's.
