Robert William Poole, 21, of ElDorado was killed in an automobile wreck north of El Dorado Saturday.

Officers said young Poole was a passenger in a car traveling on U.S. Highway 67.Ê The Poole car sideswiped another vehicle and then crashed into a bridge abutment.

He is survived by his father, O.L. Poole of Warren: his mother, Mrs. Estene Powell of El Dorado; a brother, Fred Poole of Plain Dealing, LA.; and a sister, Mrs. William Vines of Shangaloo, LA.

Funeral was Sunday at 2:30 at the Gravel Ridge Land Mark Baptist Church by Rev. Don Fike, of El Dorado.

Burial was in the Gravel Ridge Cemetery by Frazer Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were James Tillman, Gene McKinney, James Hayes, George Tillman, John Adams, and Jimmy Thrailkill.
