The Hester Cemetery is located at 5095 E. Huntsville Road, Fayetteville, AR. 
This is a rural cemetery in Washington County, Arkansas. It is at the end of a 
small dirt road which turns directly off of Huntsville Road. There is a rather 
small sign, visible from either side of the highway, indicating the turn-off 
for the cemetery. One must watch carefully for this sign; it's easy to miss. 
The cemetery is still in use. There is much lichen damage to some of the 
stones; many of them are rather difficult to read. There are unmarked graves 
here, as well as quite a few marked only with plain rocks. This small cemetery 
has a gate around the front, and a barbed wire fence running along the back. 
It appears to be well-kept.

There are as many as forty stones that are simply unreadable, or were never 
carved to begin with (plain field stone markers). Some of the plain stones are 
flush to the ground; others are upright.
