Springdale - Helene Catherine Bowman, 81, of Springdale died Dec 17, 2005, at
Springdale Health and Rehab Center. Born Jan 11, 1924, in Hempstead, NY, to
Coleman and Catherine Mead Walker. 

Preceded in death by daughter, Rita Mae Bowman and one great-granddaughter,
Alyssa Catherine Rowell.

Survived by husband, Vernon to who she was married on Apr 15, 1944; five sons,
Ray Glen, Reuben, Sidney, Rex and Ray; nine grandchildren; 12 great-
grandchildren.

Services at 10am Wednesday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, burial in
Venus Cemetery.
