Richard Othmoer Barr, 78, of Springdale died Feb. 4, 1998, in
Springdale. Arrangements are pending at Nelson's Funeral Home in
Fayetteville.

SPRINGDALE – Richard Othomer Barr, 78, of Springdale died Feb. 4, 1998, in
Springdale. He was born June 11, 1919, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Dow and Ada
Gladys Hoke Barr. He was a Methodist and a member of the U.S. armed forces.
He was preceded in death by two sons.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy and Donald Barr, both of Des Moines.
Graveside services will be at noon Monday in Fayetteville National Cemetery
with Chaplain Farrel Ard officiating. Arrangements are by Nelson's Funeral
Home of Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
