PRAIRIE GROVE – 

Frances Lossing Haskell Benton, 82, of Prairie Grove died
Feb. 3, 1998, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She
was born March 25, 1915, in Beaver County, Okla., to William A. and Della
Ruth Foreman Lossing. She was a member of Prairie Grove Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cletis Haskell, and Adron
Benton, and one son.
Survivors include three daughters, Maxine Caudle of Prairie Grove, Ruth
Sellers of Tontitown and Reta Carney of Fayetteville; one stepson, David
Benton of Cane Hill; one stepdaughter, Linda Allen of Texas; one brother,
Charles Lossing of Prairie Grove; seven grandchildren; seven great-
grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Prairie Grove Christian Church with
Monte Shoemake officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery under
the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.
