He was born May 13, 1933, in Witter to James and Mary Baker Burnett. He was a retired automobile mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Woodell Burnett of the home; three sons, Roger Burnett, Randall Burnett and Rocky Burnett, all of Huntsville; two daughters, Roberta Rapoza of Fayetteville, and Ramona Mason of Huntsville; six brothers, Art Burnett of Huntsville, Paul Burnett of Springdale, Carl Burnett of Pueblo, Colo., Norris Burnett of Elkins, Norman Burnett of Fayetteville and Kent Burnett of Tontitown; two sisters, Geraldine Gooch of Muskogee, Okla., and Faye Tillery of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville with C.J. Jackson and the Rev. Earl Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the Upper Campground Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Wages, Marion Smith, Wesley Burnett, Joe Collins and Dave Piatt. Honorary pallbearers are Rodney Hinson, Gary Smith, J.D. Smith, George Miller, Vernon Bryant, Gene Tillery, Jerry Tillery, Tim Wilkenson, Gil Bryant, Kevin Cooley and Dale Williams. ------------------------------------------
