FAYETTEVILLE – 

Vera Apple Damon, 83, of Fayetteville died Feb. 2, 1998, at
Perry County Nursing Center in Perryville. She was born March 14, 1914, in
the Blue Mountain community to Harvey Galleton and Etta Mahala Ewing Apple.
She was a homemaker and a member of Fayetteville First Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Damon.
Survivors include two sisters, Wilma Lawson Montgomery of Rogers and Naomi
Fowler of Ventura, Calif.; one brother, Charles Louis Apple of Perryville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.
Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church
Building Fund, P.O. Box 645, Perryville, 72126.
