Mark Christian Dommert, 57, of Lusby died Feb. 1, 1998, at his
home. Arrangements are pending at Nelson's Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

LUSBY, Md. – 

Mark Christian Dommert, 57, of Lusby died Feb 1, 1998, at his
home. He was born Feb. 5, 1940, in Port Barre, La., to Alfred H. and
Katherine Elder Dommert. He was a graduate of Lee High School in Baytown,
Texas, and was an electrician and electrical estimator for more than 30
years. He was a classified-communications monitor while serving in the
Army.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn S. Dommert of Lusby; his children, Tracy
Lindsey of Weatherford, Texas, Shanon Dommert of Watauga, Texas, Randy
Brashears of Newnan, Ga., and Tony Brashears of Combs; his mother of
Baytown; one brother, John F. Dommert of Baytown; four grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by one brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Buckner Baptist Church in
Fayetteville with the Rev. Larry Mitchell and the Rev. Calvin Stewart
officiating.
Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Crosses under the direction of
Nelson's Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The
family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Ben Dommert, Guy D. Dommert, Craig Thomas, Johnny
Baker, Gary Jewell, Dennis Donahue and Billy Faubus.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
