GENTRY – 

Mildred (Millie) Louise Douglas, 75, of Gentry died Feb. 3, 1998,
at Bates Medical Center in Bentonville. She was born April 7, 1923, in
Denison, Texas, to T.F. (Pop) and Eva Roper Fitzhugh. She attended the
Church of Christ and was a salesclerk and a member of the Order of the
Eastern Star Chapter 359 of Gentry for more than 40 years. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Dick Douglas; two brothers.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, John Douglas and Debbie of
Highfill; two daughters, Sarah Zierlien of Fayetteville and Rebecca Douglas
of Springdale; four grandchildren; two sisters, Juanita (Shorty) Johnston
of Rogers and Clara Fay Hubbard of Bentonville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Douglas Cemetery with
Richard Douglas officiating. Arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home of
Bentonville.
